Murrah High School News The 2nd Annual Murrah Library Literary Café was a great success. The Literary Café is a celebration of the students who throughout the year voluntarily read and take AR quizzes for their own personal development and/or enjoyment. The café is also a kick-off event for the JPS Summer Reading Program. The Murrah Librarians want to thank all administration, faculty, staff, and students who supported and participated in this event. ACT PLAN AWARD/CONTEST: Milestone Awards COLLEGE: Mississippi College or University only MONETARY REWARDS: Score 30-31 - $300 & Score 32 - $500 GEAR UP Mississippi will offer the ACT PLAN test at Murrah High School on Saturday March 3, 2012. The PLAN program will help 10th Graders to build a solid foundation for future academic and career success. It is a comprehensive guidance resource geared to help students measure their current academic development, explore career/training options, and make plans for the remaining years of high school and post-graduation years.
